Step 1
Find the center point of window height (A). Add 4" to this measurement in order for roller tube to mount above window and for the hood cover if ordered. (Hood cassette comes standard with the Siesta).
This measurement is the DROP of the awning, and will be also the PROJECTION, since they both must be the same.

Step 2
If to be mounted on the casing of window, measure outside width of window casing (B). Just make sure width of awning will be able to mount to a stud on both sides. With brick, measure at least 3" to each side of window in order to not crack the brick. Predrill all holes for brick and use lag shields with lag bolts.
